What if I need a touch up?
Please note that because fine-line tattoos are incredibly delicate, minimalist, and detailed, it is completely normal and expected for some lines to heal lighter or fade slightly during the initial healing process. Everyone's skin holds ink differently, and a touch-up is a standard part of the fine-line journey to ensure your "skin jewelry" looks perfect and complete.
I offer a dedicated touch-up service within the first six months of your tattoo for a small fee of $25. This ensures your delicate lines stay sharp, clear, and beautiful for life!
How should I prepare for my tattoo session?
Proper preparation ensures the best result for fine-line tattoos:
Skin Care: Drink plenty of water and moisturize the area daily for 7 days before your appointment. Gently exfoliate 2-3 days prior.
Avoid: No alcohol 24 hours before. No coffee or energy drinks on the day of your session (this reduces bleeding and keeps lines sharp).
Clothing: Wear comfortable, loose, neutral-colored clothes that allow easy access to the tattoo placement.
Health: Eat a good meal before you arrive. If you feel unwell, please let me know as soon as possible to reschedule.
Comfort: You are welcome to bring a book, headphones, or a laptop to stay entertained during the process.
TATTOO AFTERCARE
Protective Film (Second Skin)
Keep your tattoo covered by specialized tattoo film for 2-5 days to protect the skin from bacteria, friction, and dirt.
• If you experience discomfort or unusual redness, please remove the film. Any mild irritation should improve within a couple of days.
• How to remove: It is best to do this under warm running water. Gently pry the film from the edge and slowly peel it off to the side.
• Note: Your skin might look slightly pink after removal, and a little glue residue may remain. This is completely normal and will wash off naturally in a few days.
Cleaning
• Keep the tattoo clean: wash 2-3 times a day with warm water and unscented liquid soap.
• Gently dry the skin with a paper towel. Do not rub the skin with a towel and do not use washcloths.
• Avoid soaps with any strong odor or harsh chemicals.
Moisturizing
When the tattoo is completely dry, apply a very thin layer of unscented moisturizing cream. Moisturize your new tattoo 2-3 times a day for the next 10-14 days.

Critical Restrictions
• NEVER use rubbing alcohol or Hydrogen Peroxide to clean your tattoo.
• Avoid baths, saunas, and long hot showers for 2 weeks.
• No Swimming: Avoid pools, oceans, or lakes to prevent infection.
• No Sunbathing: Protect your tattoo from the sun with clothing. After healing, always use sunscreen.
• No Intense Exercise: Avoid heavy sweating and sports that stretch the tattooed area for 7-10 days.
• Do Not Scratch: The tattoo might begin to flake; do not peel or scratch it. Do not use body scrubs for 4 weeks.
Lifestyle & Aftercare Note
• Alcohol: Not recommended for the first 1-2 days as it can weaken the immune system and increase swelling.
